Spotted! A Bird In The Wild

Seen earlier today in North Carolina. Think maybe Arc’teryx has MultiCam shorts on the way? Man I hope so. I would SO wear these.

Oh hells yes! I’d love to wear those. Just one thing. I hope they are a lightweight material. Those look kind of heavy for shorts.

    • straps says:

      Looks like ripstop to me.

Maybe they’re ballistically rated and FR. Shorts.

  2. Navy Wife 4 life says:

Where can I buy a pair for my husband, he would love these!!!!

  3. Sean says:

    Yeas please! Want want want

  4. straps says:

Looks like someone took their pants to Ajima (blind in one eye, can’t see so good out the other). That’s some fine stitching.

  5. N Hale says:

Yeah Someone just took their pants and hemmed them into shorts.

  6. Matt says:

I love the normal Dirty Bird shorts and don’t wear any brand other than theirs for shorts.

    Multicam shorts would be cool

  7. Bradkaf308 says:

Nice but would be way too expensive for what it is. I thought only woman paid 3 times what some thing is really worth.

    • Arc'teryx Fan says:

Naw. You’ve got it backwards. Women hang around the sale rack hoping the price will come down complaining to each other about how expensive something is. Men just buy stuff they want.

  8. PLiner says:

You can buy multicam shorts for $30 bucks from predator BDU, I don’t know why anyone would pay more unless you just have to have the dead bird logo for some reason and have money to burn.

    • SSD says:

The idea isn’t MultiCam shorts, it’s Arc’teryx MultiCam shorts.

    • straps says:

Ordering from Predator is like a box o’ chocolates.

Got a pair of shorts, liked ’em, so I ordered the same short, same size, diff. color; must have accidentally checked the “oops I crapped my pants” box.

  9. matt says:

Yes. Those look like they were once Arcteryx Talos pants.

  10. john says:

Men shouldn’t wear shorts, in general. But, if they’re going to wear shorts, they should wear Multicam shorts.

I bet you would. I guess you’re hoping they make tactical fanboy sizes 38 waist.

    • SSD says:

Why yes I am. Guys who wear size 38 spend money just as much as guys who obsesses over themselves in the mirror at night.

  12. awset7 says:

Must be rich to turn $150-$180 pants into shorts. With that being said, I want one too. HA!

    • straps says:

Might be a rich kid, might be a “membership has its privileges” deal. Southeast US+Holiday Weekend=lots of folks for whom that attire is FREE out and about…

  13. bob-on-the-fob says:

I’ve seen these in Camp Arifjan where civilian wear is authorized. Some Joes just took thier issue multicam to the Haji seamstress on base and had the legs take off for $5.

You could make your own by buying some issue multicam pants off of ebay for $25 and have the Ms. or a taylor do it for you.

No need to pay a $100 premium for a stupid logo.
