Sneak Peek – US PALM Agile Combat System

20121108-090137.jpg

Unveiled at last week’s HALO’s SC/T Summit in San Diego, CA, the Agile Combat System. According to US PALM, the ACS is composed of different front and back panels [armored or not] as well as armor integrated backpacks such as their Draco. All these and future panels and packs interface with the new Enhanced Harness System collar. The EHS is backwards compatible with the Draco HBP and all MPAR and AKAR v2’s. The system is estimated to be completed by mid 2013, with purpose built configurations to cover operations from sub-terranean to alpine.

Yeah modular is definitely what’s needed.

Lots of companies have tried–with varying degrees of success–to do this.

This looks like a complete rip off of agilites amap. I’ve had this one my vest since 2008.

  6. Hold your water. This is not a rip off of anyone else’s design, or previous efforts. I have been working on this design for over 2 years, and once you see the component parts, you will understand what we’ve come up with. We will be releasing images and field testimonials over the next few weeks that will help you better understand the concept.

I think they are seeing the name and can’t divorce the concept that two products might have similar names but are completely different.
