The Eureka4 Holster

Obviously a Spanish product, the Eureka4 holster is demonstrated by this Spanish Police woman. Eureka4 is an innovation incubator and this is their first product. However, I’m not quite sure what to say about their marketing video.

Yes! Let’s immediately impart a malfunction INSIDE the holster!

  2. G17K says:

I think I can safely say…me gusta. Not sure I like the holster though.

  3. Kango says:

I’m scared of people who think that is a viable way to carry.

All right, I’ll say it. Man is she stacked.

  5. Vek says:

A holster like this is available for Makarov PM pistols and other such Russian guns. Seems like a very good way to ND and shoot oneself in the leg. The Ruskie version is steel and not polymer though.

    Me gusta boobies

  7. Mobious says:

Because bike cops want to drive-by-shoot with ease?

  8. Doc B says:

Far as what to say for their marketing video…

It’s more entertaining than watching a tubby good-ol-boy* performing such a high level of firearm artistry, but it’s a lot like gunporn calendars – look all you like, but go someplace else to learn. That holster will cause someone to get hurt.

That said, if they invent ballistic spandex anytime soon, there would be worse models to hire to showcase it.

*No offense toward the tubby good-ol-boy demographic is intended.

    Holster..what holster?

  10. Mike says:

    Rack

  11. Buckaroomedic says:

Actually saw this holster and video at IWA Nürnburg this past spring. The video is better than the product.

  12. JPate says:

    Boobies is all I saw

Funny how there is nothing new under the sun. There has been a guy for the last 15 or so years touting a holster design like this at the Major US trade shows. I will have to find his card to remember his company name, but it is the almost the same as this ( wait, just remembered…http://www.smartholster.com/aparadig.htm)
I spent a very enjoyable 15 mins talking with him outside the NRA show this year while we smoked cigars and he lamented how the American holster market just “didn’t understand safety”

    • Jbgleason says:

You beat me to it. I was going to mention that Smart Holster guy. It scares me every time I see him briefing some police chief. I am worried some well meaning boss will buy into this craziness and force some officers to use this piece of junk.

      • Jbgleason says:

Also, note that at :20 in something goes wrong and they cut away as she looks down at her weapon.

  14. Reverend says:

Ay mi dios! Tu es MUY STACKED LIKE A BRICK SHEET HOUSE!

  15. Bman says:

Nice boobs. Butt has a little extra weight that is not needed but there was a nice bounce on it in the slow-mo close up of the police drive bys. I promise I was not looking for but I admit it did catch my eye. Speaking of which, is this why the assassination technique got so popular in South America? They learned it from their cousins in Spain.

The holster? I see the ND argument being viable but if it is the holster’s fault, I would say its more AD and not ND. The retention design is not viable for anyone who should anticipate fighting for their own gun Especially law enforcement. The speed is nice but its retention does almost nothing to prevent gun takeaways.

  16. Dave the Rave says:

I didn’t notice she had a holster until 40 seconds into the video.

  17. Brent says:

If you wear a retarded holster like that, it counts as stupidity, which means an ND.

  18. Doug E. Doug says:

I didn’t know it was a woman until I had thoroughly ridiculed and mocked it’s poor shooting technique and horrible choice in holster.

  19. SGT Rock says:

    Tap, rack, bang.

  20. tfb says:

The holster’s crap, she has no control on her firearm, and yet she has some nice ballistics.

  21. Brian says:

If I was in Spain and saw her driving by I would speed past her just to have her pull me over!

  22. Mohican says:

Good to know you enjoy this Spanish joke.

I reached this piece of problem before and one of his designer get angry with our comments here (http://tirotactico.wordpress.com/2012/02/19/funda-pistolera-automatica-eureka4-una-solucion-sin-problema).

No doubt this is a stupid thing.

  23. Don’t forget the Seldeen D/A Holster from the early 1980s.

  24. Jonas says:

I think it’s a holster that besides sevir to carry the weapon, gives a tactical advantage. I see only advantages

  25. Josh says:

    WOW!
What a bad idea for a holster.
If you watch the videos on their web site, you’ll see a guy doing a live fire demo…He fires before the gun is even close to horizontal and has a stove-pipe jam (probably from him limp wristing it).
He does a ton of other things wrong/poorly between the two videos, but I won’t get into that.

  26. Adrian says:

The video and the holster sucks !! You heard it from a Spaniard himself…
