Today, Contact The Colorado Senate to Protect the Rights of Gun Owners

Yesterday the Colorado House passed HB 13-1224 which restricts so-called “High Capacity Magazines” and a number of other gun-control bills, but the fight is far from over. These bills still need to pass through Senate Committee and be passed by the Senate itself before it moves to the Governor’s office for signature in order to become law. Contact these Colorado Senators and politely explain why HB 13-1224 is bad policy, will harm the rights of law abiding citizens, and drive jobs out of the state while doing nothing to improve public safety. Magpul Industries will leave the state of Colorado if this bill becomes law.

Stop the anti-gun bills now before the senate. This is a total infringment of our right to bear arms. Who will protect us if we can’t protect ourselves.

Senators; by virtue of being a Colorado resident, I feel that you all represent me in some fashion. Having been to the committee hearings, and having seen an overwhelming majority of people who showed up to testify against almost every thing in all these bills, may I ask that you stand with the good people of this state, and reject them. Look at the numbers, even the Denver Post poll, we don’t want these bills to become law. We weren’t given time to testify against them, nor vote ourselves. ( how about a statewide vote? ) So, it rests in all of your hands. To those of you who oppose them already, thank you. To those of you who aren’t certain, thank you for your careful considerations. To those of you who want to pass them no matter the consequences, we are watching closely.
