Putin Wears Optifade

In this photo from the Huffington Post, Russian President Vladimir Putin sports (Hyperstealth Developed) Optifade Open Country camouflage during a recent fishing trip.

The garment, manufactured by Sitka Gear, is pretty high end stuff.

I bet that fish never even saw him.

  2. B307 says:

I hope the whole Russian army switches over to opti-fail. That way when the cold war fires back up we’ll be able to see them no matter where they are.

“Opti-fail?” Have you at all investigated this pattern? It’s a hunting camo and developed as such. It was created to defeat the eyesight of hoofed animals, not people, not military usage. It actually works very, very well and has the science to back it up when used against its intended target. Ask Guy Kramer. He helped develop it; or you could just argue with him. Your recent comments the past few days on various posts suggest you are an expert on many things.

Question is, was the visual camo pattern being sported by fish what failed him. Putin probably did some kgb psych stuff to make the fish come to him.

  4. Erik says:

Hell, I’m just more impressed he’s even wearing a shirt.

  5. Ben says:

The coolest thing is that Putin isn’t a bitch.

  6. Haji says:

Nice fish. Not nice communist KGB guy, even without the actual KGB.

  7. Ed says:

I like the camo pattern the fish is wearing!
