FFS, Seriously? Whoever it is, they are a fucking jackass.

  2. Toby says:

That is poor leadership, piss poor planning, and a complete lack of troop welfare.

Similar thing happened to me as an E-2. Checked the CQ roster, Clear, then get the call Christmas day. 30 min late and I get an article 15.

What a leadership fail. People like that don’t deserve to be called leadership because they provide none.

Looks like all the PHBs (Pointy Haired Bosses) aren’t in the private sector.

Finally a Police Chief of a major metropolitan City speaks the truth with candor. Don’t know if SSD wants to post this as an independent thread, but this is what we street cops have been saying for years…

Joe is starting to outmaneuver this one. In the age of caller ID he just ignores the phone call. He then calls a buddy to see if it is a real emergency or deuchbaggery like this. He then does the cost benefit analysis on weather or not to go in.

As I understand it, they called his parent’s house and mom answered the phone. Too bad it wasn’t my kid. Someone on the other end of the phone would be crying.

Invading a country? I’ll drive the kid back to Post. We’re leaving now.

      Class A inspection? AYFKM?

I had to drive from Ohio to Virginia on 26 December to check the windows and doors and sign the fucking log as the duty.

My leadership did that just to fuck with me. Fuck fuck game on. I came back and did it. Didn’t even turn my engine off, and drove back for another week of leave.

Dicks. That was 28 years ago and I still hate those mother fuckers.

And I never did that to ANY of my guys, and I took duty on holidays because I didn’t have a wife and kids, and I was OK with that.

  10. Hubb says:

One thing I try not to do is f%*k with my troops time off. A good SNCO makes sure all the BS is taken care of BEFORE they go on leave!

Just another sign that the military is in a downward spiral . . .

  12. ParatrooperJJ says:

If that actually happened, it’s worth an IG complaint.

Yes, because the guy who I trust that told me that it happened to his son is full of shit…
