More On The Tactical Chaplain

Turns out, the Tactical Chaplain who recently reached out to a prominent tactical gear producer for T&E samples, actually represents ‘usasoc’ not ‘USASOC’. It looks as though ‘usasoc’ is a “Christian men’s ministry serving the special operations community” that is based in Quantico, Virginia. Considering this, I’m not even sure at this point if he’s actually even in the service.

Yes, we know who he is now, and no, we aren’t going to share his name publicly. I’m not one to undermine confidence in the clergy. Not when guys like this work so hard to do it to themselves. However, if you are in industry and have been contacted by a Tactical Chaplain from usasoc or for that matter anyone with a usasoc.us email, hit me up and I’ll verify the name.

This just gets better and better.

    Is it Father Guido Sarducci?!

  2. Weaver says:

Chaplain or not, he’s a poser and he misrepresented himself, and he should be outed just as anyone else would have been.

When I am 100% on everything I will do that. I have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

  3. Totally bogus!

This guy, whoever he is, is a big disgrace to all legitimate members of the US Military’s chaplaincy programs.

Here is what the chaplaincy program actually does with with and for SOCOM personnel and their families.

“The USSOCOM Chaplain’s Office is fully involved in the Preservation of the Force and Family Task Force. To that end, we are working with our interdisciplinary teams and hearing from the SOF community as to what seems to be working best with regard to family programs and spiritual resiliency. We want to hear from you about the great programs that our SOF Chaplains have put in place. At the same time we are looking for new ideas and trying pilot programs that will further enhance family relationships and resiliency.”

Almost reminds me of the spoof video the guys over at Ranger Up did about the CIB Chaplain, almost.

    Hilarious and good point.

Also seconding the “Tactical Chaplain” morale patch/tab.

Keep up the pressure. His integrity was his to lose.

  9. straps says:

Would have had more credibility if he billed himself as the “Tactical Chaplain’s Assistant.”
