Murdock Webbing Unveils Kryptek Line

Murdock Webbing is now officially licensed to offer jacquard woven webbing in the popular Kryptek family of camouflage patterns and they look great.

Murdock Webbing 1

Murdock uses specialized jacquard looms that weaves the camouflage pattern directly into the webbing. This not only provides a durable, double-sided product in the webbing, but also meets or surpasses all performance requirements for A-A-55301 Berry Compliant mil-spec webbing.

Murdock Webbing’s jacquard webbing can be ordered in standard widths of .75″, 1″, 1.5″, and 2″, with custom widths and weights available upon request. Highlander and Mandrake webbing are currently available, with Typhon and Yeti colorways in development, and to be released soon.

I’d like to see some 22mm Zulu style watch straps made with their webbing.

Kifaru Kryptek: Must be Aron’s new E&E.

  3. SteveB says:

Very nice. The only downside is I’ll have to sell my packs with the old webbing to buy ones with the Murdock web! There will be some great deals soon…

Is this what Blue Force Gear is using for the Kryptek VCAS they are running now?

    • straps says:

Doubtful, if past experience is any guide. I think BFG uses the exact same materials for their printed slings as they use for their non-printed slings, and I’m pretty sure they have that webbing printed by Texcel.

Hopefully we’ll see more people making plate carriers in Kryptek, looks like Mayflower won’t be once the last of their production run gets bought up.

    • mike says:

Mayflower isn’t against Kryptek, to the contrary they like it a lot. Problem is getting material with any consistency and the webbing to match. Until Kryptek gets their act together and prints their material more often, licenses it out for printing by other parties, or at least lowers the number of confirmed orders before they decide to print a batch they’re going to keep losing high-end manufacturers like Mayflower. I really like Kryptek, Mandrake specifically, and I really hope it doesn’t go the way of ATACS.

      • Ben says:

Aye yeah, didn’t mean to come off as saying that Mayflower was against it as a mainline production pattern. Just read a little too far into a post on the Facebook page. Also I agree, hopefully it doesn’t go the way of ATACS.

        • steveb says:

Unlike ATACS, the Kryptek patterns have backcountry hunters and outdoorsmen as a consumer base as well. Besides, it works markedly better. Long Live Kryptek!

    • Mission Spec says:

If you are looking for a Kryptek Highlander or Typhon PC check out the Mission Spec EOC.

  6. Mission Spec says:

If only they would produce Kryptek patterned loop now.
