Strike Industries – Cookie Cutter Comp

cookie_cutter1

Strike Industries’ Cookie Cutter Comp is a single chamber muzzle break with a large surface area which expels gas on both the right and left sides, minimizing recoil and compensating muzzle rise. Constructed from steel, it features a heavy-duty parkerized finish. Its unique design also allows it to function as a glass breaker.

  2. Greg says:

    how heavy is this thing?

I’m trying to imagine how it would feel working or training next to a shooter rocking one of these things.

Oh wait, they tell you straight up that it will be no fun:

“There will be side concussion so the shooter needs to be aware of surrounding personnel.”

    • Comprehension says:

Throat punched. What would happen to the dude and probably how I would feel too.

  4. Tetsuo says:

Awesome. Idiotic design meets horrible aesthetics. No thanks.

  5. Erik says:

And they say this is the best for a SBR or AR pistol?! Those things are concussive enough to anyone within 5 feet of the muzzle in ANY direction, I could only imagine what it would be like on the side of this thing!

  6. Stefan S. says:

Agreed..But enough armchair commanos will buy it for the tacti-cool factor.

  7. Toby says:

Well all I have to say is you don’t know concussion until you stand between two M40 antitank guns shooting simultaneously. Or having several MK48s shooting at the same time in a fire team size element. All I am saying is that SBRs with comps are not that big of a deal when you know what to expect. I know first hand how it feels to have something radically different that works but there are always nay sayers. If this gives better control and helps gain the advantage then who cares how it looks. I am all about form and function first. Just me opinion. Now what do you say we get a few of these and start baking. Hope all of the SSD readers and SSD proper are doing well.
