BLACKHAWK! Retakes Control Of Facebook Page

Although the URL remains httpswww.facebook.com/girlswithguns18, late last night BLACKHAWK! Worked with FaceBook to regain control of their Facebook page. It was hacked yesterday and spammed thoroughly with NSFW images of women with guns. We are still insure who accomplished the hack but a similar act was recently committed against sister brand Bushnell. In recognition of the situation, BLACKHAWK! made this simple post.

Unfortunately, this hacking event cost BLACKHAWK! followers on Facebook which is now a rather expensive issue considering the spate of service changes at Facebook that have severely throttled the reach of business pages to their followers.

It cost them followers? If they were stupid enough to be unable to understand the situation, are they valuable customers or just posers?

Seriously, watching “Lost in Myspace” episode of King of the Hill should be a mandatory learning session for everybody who are responsible for social media.

If a kid is looking at Blackhawks facebook page, and their parents walk in and see NSFW pics, they could lose that follower.

Maybe, I don’t know. I’m not a follower to begin with and my kid is 4 years old.

I’d be more inclined to buy their crap if they had nekkid girls in their ads! Instead of a pointless exclamation point!

    But that’s just me!

Looks like it’s been hacked again as i can see photos of products that i recognize from other manufacturers displayed.

Sorry I missed all the fun. Might have made FB bearable.
