Ideally a feint draws maximum attention, I think you pull this out, people are going to notice.

Am I the only one downsizing my stuff? Went from a Ka-Bar 7″ to a Bark River STS-3 3 inch. Lighter, more maneuverable, shorter profile, easier to mount the sheath..

It is situation / mission dependent. If the 3 inch blade does all that you need a knife to do then you’re set.

But I have generally found that while I didn’t need it as often, there were times that a larger knife was absolutely essential.

So when I was working I always carried one of each.

      Of course, YMMV.

3 or 4 inch blades are perhaps most ideal for 90% of ones camp chores and such but for dispatching zombie heads, this HK seems like it would work well!
