SureFire – Off-Set Scout Light Mounts

Scout Light Mount

SureFire has released two off-set 1913-compatible mounts for Scout Light models, the RM45 and RM45L. Both mounts are made of aerospace aluminum, hard anodized with Mil-Spec Type III finish. The mounts position the light in the off-set positions between the rails of a 1913 forend, decreasing weapon profile and limiting snag factor. The RM45 is designed to accept Scout Light models equipped with a thumbscrew clamp. The RM45L is designed for Scout Light models equipped with the wider footprint Swing-Lever clamp.

Both mounts are available in Black and Tan.

Welcome to 2005, Surefire. Gonna be an exciting year.

Anyone knows such a mount (low pro, offset) for a non scout light? E.g. g2x?

    • CoyDogTactical says:

I’m not sure if they are compatible with your light, but check out the HSP Thorntail and BCM just released an offset light mount.

        Those bcm mounts look good!
But I think the vtac mount comes close to what I’m looking for. Aluminium istead of plastic would be nice…

Ok so I’m going to make myself look bad but I have the screw locking picatinny rail attachments. I think it’s the 951. Will this work with that and a Steiner DBAL-I²?

These posts kill me, I couldn’t agree with D more, hey surefire you have consistently released product this year and last year that is 5 years old, and frankly other companies are doing it better and cheaper, and beating you at your own trade. John Matthews needs to retire and someone with some fresh ideas needs to step up and actually lead that company.
