BOSS Rugby wearers have called for additional colors and Velocity Systems responded by introducing the Coyote version we saw in March as well as the new Ranger Green and Red. If I were ever accused of endorsing a product, the BOSS Rugby would be it. I love these things and it’s great to see more color options.
You’ll notice that the Red variant, which is great for range personnel, is long sleeved and features Grey sleeve pockets. In fact, all three new colors will be offered in Short and Long Sleeve versions. These should be available very soon. In addition to Velocity Systems, SKD Tactical has also placed a stocking order.

If Velocity were to do that I would buy at least 3. I love Merino, I have a bunch from Smartwool and Triple Aught Design. Companies that understand some of us actually lift weights and xxl shouldn’t be below a 50 inch chest.

Long sleeve MC with the loop please Vel Sys. Sometimes I want the coverage of a combat shirt but even having sleeves in NYCO is warmer than one desires/needs for certain non-combat use.
How about white for range personnel? Red makes it hard to spot if we suddenly develop a leak – I’ve never understood why we thought red was a smart color for people at increased risk of being shot. And melanoma is probably more of a risk than a GSW, except I’ve had to dig a lot of splatter out of myself after some courses.
And for LE, yeah, we don’t need or want all the over-built aspects of a full-on combat shirt, but it would be nice to have some of the design aspects integrated into our stuff.
Will these fit those of us with non-active shapes? I’m 5’10” and 240, and wonder if 3X would fit or be tight or too loose or what.

They seem nice. I have been on the fence about one of these for a while now. The ranger green looks pretty nice. Oh, but so does the Wolf Grey….. Black is always a safe bet…
