The soldier we need. Not the one we deserve

      They’re the God-damned Batmen.

I guess the Air Force isn’t concerned about shaking the image of being the wealthy branch with all the cool stuff. Good thing… for justice!

Loving the fact that this picture is NOT Air Force Digital Tigerstripe. I’m still clinging to the hope that the USAF will fix their colossal mistake sooner than later.

I love that the Utility Belt will actually be a thing.

  4. Steven S says:

All of this fancy tech and yet no optics for the rifle. 😉

    • This Gentleman says:

They don’t need one. Wayne Corp is apparently designing them sunglasses equipped with a HUD and targeting system.

The Light Gun does appear to have a red dot though.

No Grapple hook gun? no Batarangs?

    Nananananananana..

It’s like an anthropomorphized F-35! Lots of cost-prohibitive super high-tech that never works as advertised, is in a constant state of broke and is obsolete by the time it’s operational. But heck, when it does work, 100 soldiers can do the work of thousands. Oh yea, they forgot to give him a nuke to carry.

  8. JPfromFinland says:

I love the mandatory “wrist mounted data terminal”. Somehow all wearable information systems slides the world over have to have one of those…

  9. Stefan S. says:

“Battlefield Airmen” Now that is funny! Like the AF weathermen in the ops core helmets? What no cable and ac?

  10. Grayson says:

If this is what the BATMAN looks like, when does the Joker show up, and what is he carrying? And how badly is the BATMAN gonna get hammered when the Joker gets into knife fighting range?

Would be nice if they could use this for the JFO’s. Or maybe just the simple FO’s making the JTAC’s or COmbat controllers jobs easier. Now they can preform type 2 or type 3 controls with more confidence!?!
