SOFIC 2015 – Mustang Survival

This is Mustang Survival’s Lightweight Special Operations Dry Suit.  Weighing in at just under 5 lbs it is significantly lighter than the current issue Maritime Assault Suit System.

  

This chest opening suit integrates Mustang Survival’s latest features including stand up collar to protect the neck seal as well as integrated padded elbows and knees.

    5 Pounds is extremely light, wow. I wonder what other patterns it will be available in? I haven’t really seen any studies proving that the distinctive color of the MASS suit was more or less effective in Maritime/ VBSS, but It definitely looks cool.

    Damn, I kind of want to buy a MASS suit now….

      MASS Grey is one of those colors that almost defies description, so of course I dig it, and do absolutely nothing that requires it. But when I look at the bits and pieces I have, I wonder if it is underutilized for general purposes. Now that we police have become a hyper-militarized occupying army no longer worthy of the tracked vehicles and armed aircraft we seldom to never had, unless having a SWATter hanging out the door of a JetRanger with an AR counts, maybe a switch to Over-Ripe Avocado would make us more sensitive to the needs of the community while still identifying us as targets for rocks and bullets
