SilencerCo & Jep Robertson #FightTheNoise

WEST VALLEY CITY, UT – July 10, 2015 – SilencerCo joined Jep Robertson of Duck Commander in the bayou near West Monroe, LA to get to know the man behind the beard.

“I was born with a shotgun in my hand” says Jep. As the youngest son of the First Family of Duck Hunting, Jep is accustomed to the social aspect of shooting – including just how loud it can be when a chorus of shotguns erupts at the same time.

When the Salvo 12  was announced, it naturally became a staple of the Duck Commander arsenal. After making his first SilencerCo purchases and learning about the Fight the Noise campaign, Jep – an already outspoken advocate for gun rights – decided to add his voice to the movement.

Watch the video to join SilencerCo on the river as Jep shares his thoughts on silencers, the Second Amendment, and what matters most to him.

SilencerCo is proud to count Jep as a member of The Suppressed as we stand together to #FightTheNoise.

That is true my wife gets a new tat I get another suppressor. I may have been in the military and been attached to a unit of knuckle draggers. But I’m still tat free. But I too do love hunting with my suppressors.

I think the #FightTheNoise movement is fantastic in broadening the understanding of how the suppressor is a respectful tool that more often than not is for the betterment of everyone in the vicinity of an active firearm.

I think it would benefit SilencerCo and other suppressor manufacturers to seek non-traditional advocates of their cause. A persona such as Mr. Robertson drums support from a particular slice of the American population, many of who are likely already staunch advocates of firearm use and responsibility.

In order to broaden the audience and builder more diverse foundation of the cause (and if we’re looking specifically at TV/Film/music personalities), a voice like James Earl Jones (literally), Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, James Hetfield, Alton Brown, or Johnny Depp would likely stir a much greater and productive discussion.

(Note; the personalities listed here are, according to open source reporting, supporters of firearms ownership and use).

      Lol.

Do you have any idea the difference in cost it would take to get an endorsement from anyone you just listed? Here’s a hint: Its in the HIGH seven figure range. And that’s assuming the personalities would agree to publicly endorse a ‘controversial’ topic.

From the moves SilencerCo has been making recently, they are using a reasonable budget to cover a multitude of demographics, while still maintaining brand integrity.

The Duck Commander? A particular slick of the American population? The kind who enjoys scripted “reality” television? Who promotes television that has ruined creativity to broadcast?

I agree, SilencerCo and the suppressor industry needs a more diverse group to support. But not from this joke. This jackass and his family found an easy dollar and lost their integrity in doing so with their day to day shit tv.
