    Why is the DLA selling knives? Is it part of their mandate to act as a retailer? And since these knives come from an official government/military agency, does that mean they’re authorized to carry by all branches of the military?

      They are available through the supply system to authorized government purchasers. This doesn’t mean individuals but rather units and agencies.

    Any branch of the military,
    can procure a NSN listed,
    item. Also Federal Law Enforcement, outfits.
