OR – Gerber – Mini Pry Bar

The Mini Pry Bar is a recent addition to the Gerber line. It features an electric (up to 1000v) insulated glass filled nylon handle, forged steel pry bar with black oxide coating and a paracord leash. No sheath because it slides right into your PALS webbing.

    $50 tacticool from Gerber, or $5 from hardware store.

      Maybe it’s insulated, maybe it isn’t. I know one thing. That hardware store special isn’t made in the U.S.

        Not all Gerbers are made in the US either. Regardless, all things being equal I’d probably buy this Gerber over a generic hardware store special, I’m not sure that I’d trust a generic $5 hardware store special. But if there was a brand name hardware store mini pry bar that’s cheaper than the Gerber I’d take that over the Gerber no matter where it was made.
