Blessed Are The Peacemakers

I want to take a moment to honor the law enforcement and EMS personnel who responded to the deadly terror attack earlier this week in San Bernardino, California. They did a great job and their swift and decisive action prevented even more deaths.

I’d also like for us to take a moment to honor the victims of this attack. They were friends and family to many and will be dearly missed.

Indeed. I’m guessing that a media commentator was correct when he said that some of these personnel were likely involved in the Christopher Dorner case in 2013.

    Ditto!

Ya know what’s really tragic about this whole ordeal? Their child now grows up with no mom or dad. What do they tell the kid when he asks what happened to my mom and dad? What a legacy to leave behind for your child.

If you are talking about the peacemakers, they will understand later that his/her parent died as a hero. To serve the peace and to help others.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”

Whatever your job or chosen role in life, you have the opportunity to serve as a helper in someone’s time of need. That choice is yours.
