LIPSEY’S AND VICKERS TACTICAL RELEASE NEXT EDITION OF EXCLUSIVE GLOCK PISTOLS

Baton Rouge, La.— Lipsey’s, a nationally renowned firearms distributor, and combat veteran Larry Vickers, the face of the tactical firearms industry, have again teamed up to deliver two new exclusive GLOCK pistols.

Beginning immediately, Lipsey’s will be selling a limited run of Gen 3 RTF2 framed GLOCK 17 and GLOCK 19 pistols in two-tone grey. They come equipped with Vickers Elite sights and Tango Down mag release, slide catch, magazine base plates and grip plug with integral disassembly tool.

Larry Vickers continues to work with industry partners Wilson Combat, who created the Vickers Elite sights, and Tango Down, the manufacturer of all other parts. When asked about the second round of these special make-up GLOCK’s Larry said, “One thing we wanted to do this edition was take the feedback of customers and incorporate those ideas into this limited edition. The green fiber optic front sight and the grip plug with integral takedown tool are perfect examples of that. Combined with the grey color, these will set a new standard for unique configuration GLOCK pistols.”

The first Vickers Tactical / Lipsey’s Exclusive FDE GLOCKS were an overwhelming success and Product Development Manager Jason Cloessner couldn’t wait to launch the two-tone grey edition. “Our exclusive grey GLOCKS have been extremely popular. Doing a follow up run of Vickers Tactical pistols in grey has been at the top of our request list.”

Located in Baton Rouge, Lipsey’s was originally formed as a wholesale hunting and fishing distributor in 1953. Today, the company leads the firearms industry in the collaboration and distribution of exclusive firearms. An authority in NFA regulations, Lipsey’s also offers a robust line of silencers, short barrel rifles and accessories. With a committed focus on relationships, Lipsey’s provides value and innovation to federally licensed dealers and the industry’s top manufacturers.

      Me want. Me buy.

Wish they did the finger grove removal, frame texturing and contouring that Larry sends his stuff to David Bowie to do. I already did these improvements to my glock, nothing really special and functional here. If you can order parts on the Internet, and can service the easiest pistol in the world to service, you can make these mods in about 30 minutes. All useful, just not necessary to pay someone to do for you,. Unless you need grey with a special serial number. Frame work would be worth someone doing it for me.

Just FYI on the Lipsey’s website, they are also showing a lot of other models in gray. Is the vickers edition different than what is on their website?

    3. AC says:

I believe the Vickers edition will come with his sights and accessories (mag release, base plates, etc.), where as the other models you saw will be identical to a standard Glock.

      Heeeeeeeellllllll yeeeeaaaaa

    5. It’s a nice looking color.

I have not bought a glock since a rtf 19 in 2010. What is the consensus these days? Are gen 3s still considered more reliable in 9mm? I might buy one. Or are the gen 4s considered just as reliable and more accurate these days?

    7. FrankRizzo says:

Me buying now!!! My dealer has one and it’s mine. All mine!!!

    8. Gunaddict414 says:

Picked up my pair today… I have 4 of the last ones with the FDE frames.. One of those 19’s has become my EDC

    9. James Greene says:

Picked up a Vickers G17 gray frame tonight.. Love the sights and RTF 2 frame!

    10. MugenAlt236 says:

I handled a Vickers G19 at a show before Christmas. The frame had a different grip texture as well. Way more aggressive than the stock gen 3. You can hardly tell it’s different from the picture since it doesn’t look like your normal soldering iron stipple job but it seriously gives you a much more positive grip. It’s kind of a cross between the Gen 4 dot texture and the Gen 3

    11. Tim Harris says:

I purchased a L/LV G17 today in Grey! The Gen3 – RTF2 frame is outstanding! I am really amazed at the difference this very refined stippling makes to the pistol, love the little added details of extras.

Great job on the joint venture! Thank you!
