SHOT Show – Kitanica

Here’s a preview of upcoming Kitanica products.
The MkIV revitalized the brand after showing up on ‘Mythbusters.’ Now, they’ve updated this 1000D Cordura motorcycle style jacket.

They’ve updated the back with padding along the back.

You can also insert their pads into the elbows.

Additionally, it will integrate the MkI liner for cold weather riding.

This Coyote is a new custom color for their American Hoodie.

Above and below are photos of a prototype Range Pant that is a long version of their popular Range Short.

For those of us who can’t attend, these posts are really the closest thing to be there. Thanks for the effort. It is definitely appreciated.

  2. Dan says:

Yes I agree. Second year that I’d planned on going but work interfered.
    Thanks SSD

Loving those Ranger pants. Finally a low-profile tech-pants from Kitanica. Very Vertx/Arcterix style.

Looking forward to this prototype turn into production piece.

I was stuck in the booth last year, I’m actually quite pleased to not be stuck in the booth again this year…lol. I won’t be coming home from 6 days in vegas with the shot show funk, smelling of cigarettes and booze from the inevitable night ending at the circle bar…lol.

One of the best and most professional gear/gun/guy/defense sites on the web.

    Thanks for the updates SSD!

Out of curiosity are the prices still in line with Kitanica’s usual pricing structure?

  5. Mike says:

Is the motorcycle jacket actually meant to be worn on a motorcycle? Or is it just styled that way?

  6. Doc B says:

Cordura gear designed to protect you from road rash?

    O_o

I’m not saying I’m anyone at all, but I might’ve gone a different way, there.

    • Texas-Roll-Over says:

Its not a motorcycle jacket per se, but actually a jacket that has design elements of motorcycle jackets.

I bought a pair of their all season pants a few years back and the craftsmanship is ultimately what your paying for. Cheaper clothes will wear out fastèr, they’ll fade quicker, the zippers will get jammed, etc. Not kitanica clothing in my experience so far. Still havent bpught one if their jackets though.

    • Bill says:

Motorcycle jackets don’t usually come with drag straps. Having seriously crashed a bike, I was dragged enough, and my spine didn’t need anymore dragging.

They need to do a smock version of the mark IV. It’s almost there, just needs a few modifications and it would be the bess smock ever!
