The DEFIANCE DMK22 is targeted for release in June 2016 with a suggested manufacturer starting retail price under $500.
Featuring a full metal construction, the DEFIANCE DMK22 has been designed to accommodate customization with a wide array of popular aftermarket barrels, magazines, parts and accessories. The DEFIANCE DMK22 line of rimfire rifles will feature various configurations and Cerakote finishes.

While probably pointless I can’t be the only one who feel that Kriss’ time and effort would have been better spent in bringing a .22 Kriss to market instead of (yet another) AR-15. Granted that it’s an AR-15 chambered for .22 it’s still a crowded market full of AR clones, a Kriss in .22 would have stood out like the originals do. I’d also think that being chambered in .22 would mean that you could get them for less than the full powered versions.
So is this the rifle that can take 10/22 barrels you reported on earlier? Will uppers be available separately?
