NRA – Magpul Introduces 12 Round PMAG GL9 & Hunter X-22 Stock for 10/22 Takedown Rifle

At the 2016 NRA Show, Magpul unveiled a 12 round version of their popular PMAG GL9 for Compact GLOCK pistols. They also showed us a new Hunter X-22 Stock variant for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown Rifle.

    As someone who uses a G26 as a back up at work and off duty, I am overjoyed at the chance to add to the literal mountain of cash Magpul will receive. It looks like they will be easier to extract from the mag well due to the +2 extension. The added groove (and thickness?) will make reloading during quals much easier. The stock base plates are always a bit tricky to quickly remove and I generally end up launching them across the range, I tried the vickers baseplates but had a bit of an issue with one deforming on me so I am re-assessing whether I will continue using the part.

    What is the cost ratio of the actual rifle : cost of x-22 stock?
