SIG SAUER - Never Settle

SOFIC – Revision Introduces First Multi-Use Bump Shell With Ballistic Capability

The new Revision Multi Use Bump Shell is under 1.5 lbs including ballistic capability. While the inherent properties are minimal (frag), when used in conjunction with an appliqué (currently unavailable for public viewing) it offers ACH level protection. It can also be configured for general purpose of as a coxswain helmet.

The rail system is skeletonized to save weight. The venting was positioned specifically to work with their two-piece appliqué so that it will still work even when appliqué elements are in place (graphic below).

It also incorporates a new liner system which is easily removable for the integration of comms.

Look for commercial availability around SHOT Show.

Is the rail yet another proprietary standard, or is it compatible with Ops-Core? (kinda looks like it).

Team Wendy helmets are great, but most of their rail attachments require the use of tools, and give a much higher profile than the Ops-Core counterpart… Thus something that combines great shell/liner with Ops-Core rail would be a winner.

Looks like it’s ARC compatible; Revision is already licensing the ARC design.

I like the extended shape of that helmet and how its back stretches further down towards spinal cord.

Comes at a good time since the bump helmut from ops core is discontinued until at lease August

“Revision Introduces First Multi-Use Bump Shell With Ballistic Capability” — I think that is a bit of a stretch… 3M’s Ultra Light Weight (UW) Helmet was released a few months ago… and does not need applique to provide ballistic protection. Bump and Ballistic protection is offered in one package
