Cut the price in half and I’m in. I’m a buyer at $75, but not at $140.

    • Steak TarTar says:

Please point out to me a USA made 15″ waxed canvas bag sold at $75

    • SSD says:

It’s Made in America. Your expectation is entirely unreasonable.

      • Joe says:

For the price and features of the bag, it’s just not there. It’s essentially a 3 pocket bag and I think the pricepoint even for being made in the USA could be lower.

For that $130-$160 price range there are many better bags in the tactical market (Made in USA too).

The wax canvas is growing on me though!

    • Dellis says:

During holidays I buy my family stuff from Combat Flip Flops, Griff is a great guy but their mission is solid. I support that….so what if a bag, sarong or scarf is $40 or $50 more, it’s the extra they do with the money in their efforts that bring me back, well that and it’s great stuff.

  2. John says:

BTW, I own bags that cost $300 so I understand quality and craftsmanship.

  3. jbgleason says:

I would love to hear from Grif and the guys what it has been like since Shark Tank. I wonder how much the investor is driving product design and pricing?

    SSD exclusive interview???

    • Chris says:

I’m curious on this as well. I really like the mission behind their products. Truth be told I’ve been looking at one of these bags but I needed one that was able to hold a bigger laptop. This may serve that role, plus it blends in with day to day travel without being “tactical”

    • Jon, OPT says:

They reduced prices, I can say that as a retailer. Not sure if it was the Sharks or simply retailers like me telling them they could sell more if they dropped from $70 for a pair of flip-flops. It definitely worked, sales of their items went up.

+1 on hearing how their work with those guys has benefited them

    • Griff says:

I’d be down. HMFIC, what say you?

  4. PETE says:

I have one of the originals in nylon. This larger version holds some serious appeal.
