That is all…

    Early and often.

The lack of support for Trump in the gun community came as a shock to me, given that the only other option is to have gun bans, confiscation, registration, no fly lists for gun owners etc.

Just calling the people to go to vote is not enough. I wish there would have been some more endorsements.

    • Andrew says:

Trump has been anti gun or at least not a strong gun supporter for nearly his entire life until this most recent run for President. I’m skeptical that a lifelong liberal and supporter of liberal ideas had a sudden change of heart and became a conservative warrior for gun rights all of a sudden. It’s possible, but unlikely.

I think you will find many in the gun community feel the same way.

      • MK262 MOD1 says:

Absolutely true. But…, He at least professes a change of viewpoint. Only time and history can validate that. The alternative however, is a proven enemy of the constitution by word and deed.
Given the current state of the SCOTUS and the potential for even more vacancies, that is probably the greatst risk to firearms ownership we face if HRC sits in the oval office.
Where we are now is a literal demonstration of the sorry state of the American political system, but it is a reality. That reality is that you must choose between a potentially risky unknown and a legitimate, profound risk to multiple freedoms.
        Just MHO.

        • Andrew says:

I agree. We know what we will get with Hillary, there is a slim chance Trump will follow through on a few of his promises and end up slightly better than the alternative. Maybe I’m just cynical about it, but I am not voting for Trump because I think he is the best candidate. I’m voting for him because there is potential he isn’t quite as bad as Hillary.

I really hope I’m wrong about him.

      • Marcus says:

This is an either/or choice. Even by not choosing you have chosen.

Look at the people Trump has said he will put on SCOTUS. They all are pro Second Amendment advocates and originalists. Then look at the alternative who has not only stated she will use Executive Actions and the administrative state to dilute our rights, but pack the court with political acolytes.

If you believe in protecting the Second Amendment this isn’t even a close call.

      • SamHill says:

I will take Trump’s recent switch to pro-2A over Hillary’s constant anti-2A stance any day. Easy choice man.

    • demure says:

Purhaps the gun community realizes that Trump has all the values of a neo-hitler?

      • dan phillips says:

I wouldnt believe everything you read on the main stream media. There has been an awful lot of spin attempting to make Trump into a a caricature of evil.

      • orly? says:

Doesn’t take alot of imagination to take Trump’s “First Hour of Power” speech and envision an American Kristallnacht.

If Obama said anything remotely like that, holy hell things would have been crazy.

        • SSD says:

          American Kristallnacht? Color me skeptical.

          • orly? says:

            Time will tell.

All that blame and hate doesn’t just disappear, and if a certain someone pledges a free pass to whoever supports his agendas, we will see who justifies cattlecars.

            • Mick says:

He’s all but stated he’d like to tear up the 1st Amendment. What makes you think he’ll hold any others, including the 2nd, sacred?

He is pro 2A only to the extent 2A supporters are useful to him, and no more.

          • orly? says:

    Sure will. Hillary 2016.
    Because Whitey’s gotta pay

    • Whit says:

I’m probably feeding a troll, but I want to show you how my “whitey” family has already paid:

      – Simon Woolston, 13th Iowa Infantry, died of disease as a POW at Camp Sumter (Andersonville.)

      – Charles W. Price – 72nd Illinois, KIA Franklin, Tennessee, 30 Nov 1864

      – William O. Price – 23rd Iowa – permanently crippled by illness due to his Civil War service

      – Harvey Potter, 105th Illinois, wounded by shell fragments at the Battle of Resaca

      – Sloan D. Martin – 87th Indiana, KIA Chickamauga, Georgia.

      – William R. McCully, 5th Iowa, WIA in the head, Champion’s Hill, Mississippi.

And several others… So please go peddle your “whitey gotta pay” garbage somewhere else. My family has paid in full.

      • Vince says:

You are definitely feeding a troll. We all pay the price regardless your race or color. If you can bleed for your country, you can afford another ounce for Hillary’s penance. Our fellow “Americans” dug all our graves. Unfortunately it only takes being born in America to rate the title of “American.” Too bad they can’t earn it like we we did.

    • Dellis says:

You realize Hillary and the Dems, or Progressives are racist right? The democratics championed slavery and do their damned best to keep minorities poor, uneducated and dependent on the Dems so they just keep electing Dems right back into office.

So take the misguided history down the road

  6. Major_Northeast_City says:

If he wins it’s only a matter of time before he gets taken out permanently.

  7. Dellis says:

The greatest message to send Washington would be to NOT VOTE! Boycott the vote!

Now obviously that will not happen but what a great statement that would be if America just said “NO!” to either of these embarrassing dillweeds.

Hillary is just pure evil but at least you know what you get with her. Trump…he is the wildcard and that’s a dreadful “unknown” to place in that kind of power. Either way The People must hold their nose while punching that ticket. My vote most likely Trump only cause he will eventually get bored with it all and Pence will run the show behind the curtain. In fact of all four Pence is the only viable candidate in my book

    • TominVA says:

Hillary is “pure evil?” Strong words. How so?

      • Ranger Rick says:

Perhaps not “pure evil”, but definitely pure scoundrel of the craven type.

      • Dellis says:

Gladly, she’s a professional politician. That right there is enough to give a rational person great concern.

Also, she supports the party of the KKK. Praised Margaret Sanger as a woman of honor and virtue. She seeks to dismantle the Constitution by way of liberal judges in not only lower courts but also Supreme court.

Then, leaves 4 Americans to die in Benghazi…so that bitch can rot in hell, no better yet she can climb right up Saul Alinsky’s ass and rot in hell along with him.

Ask Hillary had her daughter been in Benghazi that night if the outcome would of been the same??

        • TominVA says:

A rational person should support the existence of a professional political class – especially in Congress. Only recently have I come to that conclusion, so I’ll give you that one. To have a functioning Republic, we need people like Hillary, McCaine, McConnell, Reid, etc. We need people experienced in our system of government who know how to represent they’re constituents and know when to compromise for the good of the society as a whole.

KKK? Huh? Nah. Where do you get that?

What’s wrong with Margaret Sanger? You’re not talking the whole eugenics thing are you? Sanger did not advocate exterminating any race: http://www.politifact.com/new-hampshire/statements/2015/oct/05/ben-carson/did-margaret-sanger-believe-african-americans-shou/

Benghazi. Haven’t read the reports. So it’s conclusive that she looked away as her people died? Possible, but doubtful. In the current political climate it’s unlikely any of us will get at the truth. I’ll say this though, that even the best decisions commanders on the ground and executives in DC make can get good guys killed. And ALL executives, whether it’s a President deliberately taking his nation to war based on a flimsy intelligence case, or Sec State trying to follow events unfolding in real time half a world a way, are prisoners of those who advise them. They can’t escape that.

Hillary’s no angel, and in fact she’s the reason I first voted Dem in 04 to stave off her run in 08, but she’s stable, smart, experienced, and a way better option than the Donald, an thoroughly undignified man who has turned our national politics into a year long Jerry Springer episode and who is merely entertaining himself.

Let’s not forget that we are also voting for the down ballot candidates too…we need to vote for people that will fight for our rights in Congress and the state legislatures.

  13. Whit says:

Don’t forget, Republicans vote on Nov 8th. Democrats vote on Nov 9th! 🙂

    • Mick says:

No, you mis-heard; your party’s leader told you to go vote Nov. 28, remember?

Or is that when his fraud trial starts? So hard to keep track with him…

  14. TominVA says:

Prosperity does not like drama, wild cards, or loose cannon. Look how the markets rallied with Comey’s revelation yesterday. Trump will not be good for this country.

Vote for nice, boring, stability. Vote for Hillary.

  15. Ivan says:

    In a word, “Cathartic.”

  16. Travis Gray says:

Just lamenting we don’t have a better class of losers 🙁

Regardless of outcome, whoever gets elected or selected, my hopes and dreams are they put America first, and work together to resolve some of our actual issues. Like setting conditions for businesses and individuals to prosper and generally leave the people alone to live their lives as they see fit and be happy. Without government intrusion.
