UAS Men’s RLT Boot from Under Armour

I’m always on the lookout for new kit, even if it comes from the most unlikely sectors. UAS is a new line from Under Armour which is more luxury than athletic wear.

As I own a pair of UA Fat Tire boots and love them, the RLT immediately caught my eye. Although it’s quite unconventional looking, the Fat Tire sole offers both cushion and traction.

For some, the RLT may be a choice for a duty boot. It’s available in Black, as well as a Tan color which is called Partridge along with Dress Blue, although the toe seam detail may be an issue.

Just fyi from the menswear world, that “toe seam detail” is what’s known as a “apron toe” or “moc toe” (moccasin).

Very nice looking, 1st photo appears to have what looks like a sort of Forefoot ‘Rocker Sole’ which are supposed to very comfortable and relieve pain associated with a variety of foot problems.

They’re comfortable, but they’re not really a rocker sole.

I looked again closely, you are right, not truly a ‘rocker’ sole, the first photo looked a bit like one towards the front.
So SSD you own a pair and they are comfortable… not too narrow/tight?
I have a pair in the cart on a site that has them on sale 50% off retail, deciding whether to pull the trigger on ’em.

Well, after just seeing a quick vid review on Y.T. where one guy refers to them as “for Ambitious millennials and urban travelers”, that was hilarious.

Thanks for posting them up, they do have a unique look.
I’ve decided to stick with my Haix Rangers’s.

I own a pair of the Fat Tire hunter boots. I purchased mine true to size and didn’t go up a half size. I have used them hunting and hiking and I like them a lot. Some people have had issues with the Boa leading system in general, because they don’t know how to use it and over tighten it until it breaks. I have not had this issue on these boots, or any others, for that matter.

Ive owned two pair of UA boots. Both have started to fall apart within a week of purchase. I wont be buying UA boots again.

SSD: Have you gone on long road marches or rucks in these? I’m considering wearing these for the Bataan.
