  1. CIA Spook says:

but but but there’s no EGA on it

  2. Joglee says:

    Isn’t MCT and Army thing?

    • darrel says:

Fairly sure the new “MCT” designation is for “Marine Coyote Tan”

There is a technical difference between Coyote Tan and Coyote Brown, and this magazine is most definitely Coyote Brown, but it’s not worth getting into.

      • SSD says:

        Medium Coyote Tan.

      • Nick M says:

In the video they did with ar15.com they definitely say it is medium coyote tan because the color was designed for an Army program to be between tan 499 and another tan XXX hue and it was called medium because it’s the middle of the two

  3. Kris says:

I’m hoping this color makes ot to their SR25 mags.

  4. CapnTroy says:

That’s progress! It wasn’t that long ago that the Marines were forbidden from deploying with pmags, now they have their own…

    • Seamus says:

Oh god. Please tell me the Marines are not going to go Full Retard and say “This is my PMAG there are many like it but this one is Mine!” and not let the other services order this or deploy with it like they do their uniform. I hope not.

      Plus… Where is the EGA?

      • SSD says:

At this point, everyone except the Army is going to the PMAG.

        • Torch says:

When I was at the 101st we ordered 30,000 p-mags before Iraq and Astan deployments, so may not be an Army wide adoption, but certainly many the Infantry units are using exclusively p-mags. We were issued HK mags as well back in the day.

          • JKifer says:

Yup, I got pmags issued in the Army, and then hk’s as a Fed LEO… pmag’s are by far my favorite ar mag, been using them since 2008.

        • CJ says:

          Everyone including the USAF?

  5. Chuck says:

    Polymer is progress!

  6. John says:

it’s tan and not black!?! Maybe we have some glimmer of hope and we will see painted rifles soon.

    • The Better John says:

The people who have the most need to paint their rifles will paint their rifles. Better than painting black rifles is to have them come in a useful color in the first place, which this gives me hope for.

  7. HSR47 says:

What about other mags in MCT? EMAG? .300 BLK PMAG? Glock PMAG?
