    • Chris says:

Someone wanna fill me in on the history, or actual name
of the garment for me to look up? That is am awesome looking jacket, amd it seems to have a story behind it. I may be too young to get the reference, or just not cool enough.

    • Kemp says:

      Is that smock wool lined?

      • SSD says:

        Yes!

        • Gerard says:

Its hard not to love that smock, even at that price is such a awsome coat w so much history

          • Eric Yoon says:

I love my fs smock, would gladly buy one made here in the states. the one I have is mads in guatamala and the stitching on the button holes became frayed as did the velcro for the wrists.

Make these in America and I’ll buy another one for sure

  2. Dellis says:

    I’m lovin the Woobie

  3. Eric says:

Digging the Woobie. How are their belts? Always looking for a good belt.

    • DSR says:

I’ve used a black one for a few years. The buckle on mine is a bit crude, but they may have fixed that by now. Other than that, it is stiff enough side to side to support pistol, mags, radio, cuffs, etc. It does not sag or become deformed over time. I’m pleased with it.

  4. Non-operator says:

Am I the only one excited about the gloves?

  5. Buckaroomedic says:

More pictures/info of the Smock please? I also see a “coyote brownish” color, any camo versions? What about pockets, does it have a poacher’s pocket on the back? What is the weight of the wool liner and is it removable? What is the outer material; NYCO, soft-shell, etc?

Very excited about this smock. Was going to order another Arktis smock, I’ll wait now and see what happens with this one.

If they make the Woobie in a five-button version, I’ll be all over it!

Take care and thanks for the great reporting from Shot!

    • Billiam says:

^^^^^^^^ What he said. I had an Arktis in my Ebay cart when this post came up.

      • I don’t know exact weight, but the wool lining is fairly thin (long sleeve t-shirt/base layer sort of thing). The main fabric is a shell, similar to the Wind cheater, possibly the exact same actually but I’ve not confirmed with them yet.
