Alex and Ryan Design – Kraken Roll by Jim Erwin and Freedom Hill Gear

I realize it sounds like sushi, but the Kraken Roll was created by Jim Erwin and Freedom Hill Gear to organize items while traveling.

The interior construction of this 500D Cordura roll is similar to PALS but utilizes elastic rather than standard webbing in order to hold items in place. Once rolled shut, the Kraken is secured via elastic so it will accommodate a wide variety of items.

Great design, fantastic name. I have done almost the same thing with the half dozen or so, now leftover, pencil pouches my children used when they were in primary school.
The kind that go in a three-ring binder, have a couple zippered pouches, etc.
I have one for travel electronics (Apple charger cords, plug-ins, ear buds, etc.).
A cocktail pouch (bottle opener, corkscrew, knife, sm. cutting board, jigger, etc.)
    Working on a mid-sized “bug-out bag” version.

When I see this I instantly think of TCCC/CLS/Emt uses, such as an IV starter roll up kit… good stuff, might have to add one to my go bag
