This is getting out of hand.

  3. Alex B says:

K, well … and what about their european customers ??? :O/

  4. Pete says:

” If you received a refund from EOTech, you will automatically be sent a voucher toward the purchase of a new EOTech product. If you previously returned an EOTech Holographic Weapon Sight and received a refund and your information has changed, you should submit a claim on this website with your new information.”

If I understand this correct, look for a $22.50 voucher for new EOtech Items.

  5. Snap Pea says:

Why is there a lawsuit when people already got refunds? I’m sure half the sites that were sent back for refunds were mounted on safe queens

    • Geoff says:

Because some people would rather have a fight than a solution.

    • Frank says:

If they were already facilitating refund of product, accepting responsibility etc, then it could be a case of ‘I took on L3 and won’ easy victory over a giant.

  6. John Smith says:

We took a representative number of ours (range of models) to the range and exposed them to temp extremes in every manner of timetable, with no noticeable drift. This, in and of itself doesn’t mean anything except that we are comfortable with them.

  7. Ed243 says:

I had a faded/partial reticule due to the moisture problem. I’m happy L3 provided refunds including shipping. It was a good solution without getting lawyers involved yet lawyers had to get involved.

  8. DUSTOFF says:

They sent me a refund, I got an Aimpoint. They made it right, I don’t need to be a part of a lawsuit.

  9. tangloppen says:

‘murica – where the national sport is suing each other…

  10. AbnMedOps says:

    Tort Reform. Because this.

  11. Jimmy says:

You guys are missing the point. Eotech knowingly sold our military and Law enforcement faulty products. How many lives were lost or how many were injured because they could not properly shoot back when their eotech wouldn’t stay zero. Eotech knew of the issue and did nothing but make millions. I have friends that served in Afghanistan and Iraq that had their Eotech replaced multiple times because of this. This isn’t about putting a band aid over and “its all good” because you got a refund. Eotech literarily should be out of the optics business and people who support a company like this is should be ashamed.

    • SSD says:

And the federal government sued and settled with L3 for just that reason.

      • Jimmy says:

Yea, but should not be easily forgotten either.

        • USNGunr says:

This was settled once. This is simply greed. How does giving every previous EOTech owner $20 do a damn thing? So, Jimmy, you ever serve, or is this just righteous indignation?

  12. Terry says:

Love the righteous indignation over the Eotech debacle. If you bought a television or car or anything else that had a known flaw, I think you’d be right in line to receive whatever settlement was handed down. If your knowingly sold a defective product, you deserve to have it made right.

    • SSD says:

      Terry,

The company made it right. They refunded the purchase price, without receipt, to anyone who sent their EOTech optic back. This is just ambulance chasing by lawyers.
