At this point, I don’t have a ton of faith in the PI to do this by themselves, they still need a lot of our support (logistics, training) esp from our SF.
Random pics of their gear & weapons show a lot of old stuff, rusty parts, etc.
As for this Surefire gear, maybe it will help the PI Marines in clearing buildings in Marawi, vice destroying the entire city?

philippine marines are one of the best soldiers in the planet. They were trained by US marines. Philippine Marine Force Recon are also trained in the US . Therefore, the firearms that were given to them by the US government for sure it will be great help to fight this home grown terrorist !!!! Most of the philippine soldiers are trained and schooled in the US.
