XAR Invicta from F&D Defense Now Shipping

The XAR Invicta Folding Rifle, we first showed you during the NRA Annual Meeting is now shipping.

The secret is the taper around the barrel extension which allows it to pivot right into position in the tapered upper receiver.

  1. DB says:

I can’t see this design being too accurate. But cool it can fold though.

    • Mick says:

      I had the same thought.
What if you put your zeroed optic on the barrel portion… do you think that would help.

      • Dick says:

help with what? manufacturer warrants that the hinge does not negatively affect accuracy. you are suggesting that some other conclusion has been affirmed.

        • Jon says:

Lol, are you suggesting that we just take a manufacturer at it’s word with no verification from end users? If so, Guy Cramer has an invisibility cloak with your name on it…

  2. Luke says:

    I super dig it.

But I just want the upper with no pelican case or extras. This is begging to live its life in a dirty gym bag, not coddled in foam.

  3. mark says:

    Such a cool design.

Would love to see a PDW Stocked 9″ version in .300blk as a sort of messenger bag gat.

  4. John C. says:

For $2400 the law folding stock adapter is looking better than ever.

  5. AlexC says:

Sorry, one more question: Is the upper compatible with Full Auto lower receivers? Or are they proprietary?

    • Hayden says:

I’m pretty sure it’s comparable with any milspec lower. I see no issue that would be posed by a FA lower.

  6. Grump says:

The folding stock adapter is awesome and makes this pretty much irrelevant. Only advantage of Invicta is easy to clean locking lugs.

  7. CWG says:

I would buy an 10 inch upper for sure.

  8. F olvera says:

I want this on my CA legal SCR lower!!!
