AUSA 17 – Polartec Power Wool 

This is Polartec’s new Power Wool. It’s a 5.9 oz, no-melt/no-drip gridded fleece. It offers some mechanical stretch and has a great hand (that means it’s cozy). There’s a lighter weight (4.3 oz) fabric as well. It’s fully Berry compliant and would make a great upgrade to the level 2 garments in GEN III ECWCS.

    Does anyone have an idea as to where this can be purchased, or is it just a proof of concept? An FR gridded fleece would be amazing for backpacking this winter.
