Warrior West 18 – LBT-WTV (Weight Training Vest)

Looking to offer an alternative to working out in your armored plate carrier, LBT worked with the fitness community to develop a functional/stable weight vest capable of handling the stress of a high intensity workout.

The weight vest can hold standard 5 or 10 lb circular plates that can be found at almost any gym/fitness center, they also partnered with Sorinex to develop weight plates specific to the shape of the vest that will come in 5/8/10 lbs plate options, the plates can be purchased with the vest or without.

Unlike most weight vests, the LBT-WTV also comes with an elastic compression strap to keep the weight vest stable during running and inverted exercises.

The LBT-WTV will be launched later this month via LBTINC.com, just in time for those of you training for this years Murph challenge.

    Go home LBT, you’re drunk.

  2. Jack Griffin says:

Do you remember when people wore clothes to the gym?

    Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Well LBT you successfully managed to get me to click on the photo….but not because I was interested in your product..

Who is the model anyway? (asking for a friend)
What is her El Prez time? (asking for me…)

      Glad I wasn’t the only one…

Now the crossfit hipsters can take their military fantasy to the next level.

I got so many man bun boys at my gym, and this one hipster with a backwards camouflage hat, that sits so high on his head, I don’t understand how it stays on. Perhaps using some sort of metal pin to sit it up there. He never even sweats the gel out of his hair, high top camo shoes + tall colorful socks. Much of it does not compute for me.

I actually think this type of carrier, and the pack frames designed to carry plates, are an excellent way to train without damaging mission essential gear. I would much rather be doing hill sprints, stair climbing, or weighted exercises with a vest with a couple of plates like this, than hundreds of dollars worth of mags and ceramic.

Additionally, wearing something like this is becoming more common in mainstream society, which means it should hopefully keep the cops from being called on you for running around your neighborhood with a plate carrier on.

Which you shouldn’t be doing because it’s terrible for your knees…

      • SamHill says:

@ ThatBlueFalcon how else would we get good at running in plate carriers, if we never practice running in plate carriers?

I do it once or twice a month. Knees are fine. Maybe you should consider a glucosamine supplement or check on some other nutrient levels. Also, consider a different brand of shoe, I switched to some Altra torrins from OP Tactical about a year ago and it has really upped my run game from a leg/shin pain perspective.

        Take care.

          Glucosamine?

If you wanna be an “operator”, you gotta get on the Test/HGH/Rogaine combo.
