SOFIC 18 – Team Wendy M-216 Ski SAR Helmet

Although the M-216 Ski Search and Rescue Helmet was released last November, Team Wendy is looking at some color options for the future.

They dipped one helmet in MultiCam Alpine and the other in Black (the lighting at the show makes the colors seem off), to see which one SOFIC-goers prefer. What do you think?

Since its SAR, wouldn’t red or orange be more appropriate?

  2. Kevin says:

    People still buy TW?

  3. Ben H says:

I’ll ski patrol in one of the new TW ski SAR helmets this coming winter. I’d buy the black version in a heartbeat. I’m afraid the alpine version would get trashed pretty quickly, though I might be wrong.

  4. JP says:

For the low price for $350…I’m pretty sure 95% of ski patrollers cant afford that. If they had that much money, they’d probably buy another set of skis, bindings, or boots.

Nah, people who ski are plenty shallow enough to spend money on this kind of thing. They know it’s expensive, they think it’s weird if it isn’t. :3
