ORWM 18 – Scepter 35 & 50 by Mystery Ranch

The Scepter is a new dedicated ice climbing pack from Mystery Ranch.

It is made from 330D Robic fabric and is packed with features. In addition to adjustable ice tool attachments, there is daisy chain down the back along with removable bungees.

The lid is shaped to secure a rope or helmet and the lid open toward the rear with an expandable drawstring shroud.

The yoke telescopes for a custom fit. The waist belt and internal composite stays are also removable.

It is offered in 35 or 50 liter sizes in Cherry or Mist (shown).

    Crazy how much they are expanding their product range after being bought out… not sure if this is a good thing or not.

      They didn’t get bought out, they brought in a new guy to grow the company. I have mixed feelings as well, but its hard to blame a company that wants to expand.

    Noticed the pack from mr said robic not the usual cordura. Is robic the new direction or ? Its relatively new to me.

    This looks like a smart design.

    My problem with Mystery Ranch is that they moved their manufacturing overseas, and also kept the prices the same.

    Why would I buy an Asian-made pack for the same price as, or more than, a Hill People Gear pack?
