I’ve had one of these for a couple years, it was my first first-spear product. I use it for rifle cleaning equipment, wrenches etc. It is a good little bag, and I think it is good for us to buy American made products whenever possible. On a side note I had some shipping/customer service issues with another product this holiday season and First-spear was good to go.

I spec’d out the gadget bag with Jon L. for a rapid deployment investigative team. After Mr. Carver sold Eagle Industries, we were unable to get the smaller tool bags that they used to make. Further, we were labeling those bags using duct tape on the handles and Sharpie, which is not a long term solution. The design parameters for the gadget bag were to provide organization of mission essential items (investigative kit, satellite phones, sensitive site exploitation kits, med kits, etc.) inside a larger pack (hence, the 500 denier nylon construction), provide the ability for labeling the contents or putting an easy reference card for specialized equipment, and have the ability for use as a standalone organization bag. At the time, we had a bunch of London Bridge and Eagle 3 Day packs, and the gadget bags worked great for organizing those packs.
