    I think I’m in love.

  2. Gear Guy says:

Right in the knick of time, I was just getting ready to order some of the black CZ mags.

    • Will says:

You should probably go ahead and order them. Magpul eta is probably January 2020. I *LOVE* magpul gear- and other magpul fanboys will slam my comment on this website.

Whenever I see “coming soon” from magpul, I buy the OEM product.

      • Gear Guy says:

Not a fanboy, so take this for what its worth. You should probably bone up on product development and how it actually works, especially with polymer products. Yes, Magpul has been a bit slow to bring some things to market after they are announced, but 99.7% of everything they release has been right the first time and it has been properly vetted by them and others. And if something isn’t right, they immediately make it right and they own up to it, unlike some other well known manufacturers.

I work in program/product management for DOD and understanding the product development process is critical to my job and sometimes doing things right, takes time.

Website is down and cant pull it up. When will parts be available?

  4. Bad Dancer says:

I’ve been using some Manticore Arms parts on my cz for a while now. Safety, handguard, so on. But this looks good and hopefully will address the wonky little lego feeling grip.

Kind of getting SIG vibes from it.

  5. Nick C. says:

Hey SSD, any chance you could snag some photos of the locking lug while at shot? I’m hoping they fixed the issue with the CZ mags not being able to drop free.

    • Chad B. says:

      Hey Nick C.
There is really nothing to be “fixed”. Mags were never designed to drop free. Just like the HK MP5. They are designed for “grip and rip” mag changes. It’s a European thing.

      • Jack Griffin says:

I have two Scorpions and several dozen Gen1B (smoke body, round feed lips) mags. Mine drop all free.

Potential fix for sticky mags: If you gently file the interior side of locking nubbin to be the same round shape as the exterior side, they drop free. Source: CZ Evo Forum thread, see pics. All it takes is a nail file and some patience, apparently. Go slow and test periodically.

Also: Consider an aftermarket mag release like HB Ind. The stock one is tiny and the aftermarket ones tend give better lockup / release.

        • Nick C. says:

I’ve done this to my current batch but am not a fan of having to do the extra work on every mag I buy. Hoping if magpul has “fixed” this the mage will be both cheaper and easier, which allows me to bulk order without having to spend an evening with a file.

  6. Cory C. says:

    Nice!

  7. Kriegdog says:

    Manticore parts are better

  8. Chad Peterson says:

ah… PERFECT timing for my soon tax return toy!!

  9. Pro gunner says:

You need to stamp these mags pistol and pin to 10rd to brake into the California and Canadian markets … these guns are popular in Canadian and we are restricted to 5rd pinned mags .. sure I can reload faster than any American but still .. half the fun
