    Has anyone used these “arctic grip” soles on ice? I slipped all over Evenes Air Base in Norway wearing Matterhorn’s version of the Fort Lewis boots. Warm enough, but those soles had zero traction. I’m interested to see what modern sole compounds can do for ice. Maybe footwear is becoming as sophisticated as modern snow tires?

      I had a pair of those as well. You’d fall on your ass on a wet floor.

      The new grip soles work.
