Prym1 Camo x UFPRO Launch Stryker Clothing At IWA

Introducing the new UFPRO® Striker HT Combat Pants, Striker XT Gen.2 Combat Shirt and Striker Gen.2 Boonie Hat in Prym1 Woodlands®. The new limited range was launched at IWA Show 19.

“Prym1 Camo® has been designed as the best camouflage system for all tactical operations. From Special Operations to local law enforcement applications, Prym1 Camo® patterns work together to offer a military unit a system of patterns that will conceal and blend into the surrounding elements at all times.

Our patterns allow full flexibility of movement through various terrains, by utilising the depth of colours, shadows and highlights with the organic shapes found on predators in the wild. Prym1 Camo® was built on the basis of being a true hybrid camo. A camouflage pattern that is truly versatile and adaptive, capable of not only blending, but matching a multitude of environments. By using organic, varying shapes in our patterns, it helps to achieve a natural concealment with the terrain you are deployed in, creating a camouflage with the effectiveness of an alpha predator.

By understanding the rigours of modern operations, military personnel need trust in their camouflage to be effective in multiple types of terrain within any given environment across a single mission. When your concealment determines your survival, you want to be dressed like a predator.” – Stacie Walker, Founder & President of Prym1 Camo®

I just got back from a little vacation in Slovenia. I stopped by their HQ in Trzin Slovenia and saw all of their new/gear. I also bought a pair of pants and a jacket.

Their gear is top notch and their customer service is awesome. Their quality control is also unbelievably tightly controlled. I was at max capacity on my pack so it was good that I didn’t have extra room otherwise I would have walked out of their store with 10 times as much gear, LOL.

For US customers Ill give some advice on sizing from my stop at their shop.

Their Pants fit very true to what “American sizing” is, ie 38 x 33 fits like a 38 x 33.

Their Jackets and upper body wear fits extremely snug around the chest for a given size. (I’m relatively thin). The length of the arms is correct but very exact. So, if you wear an XL here in the states, I would suggest getting a 2XL. Also the jackets and sweaters are cut very close the the waist with not a lot of excess, unless you’re looking at the smocks.

Pretty bold comments if based on your visit to their showroom.

You don’t really know how good customer service is until an order goes bad and they have to fix it (at a cost to them). Being nice to you while you are spending money at their showroom is great, but that’s a small part of customer service and the easiest thing to get right.

Quality control is excellent based on the items you saw in their HQ? Or have you sample more of their product?

Having purchased stuff from them before, seeing them at the shows, and dealing with some returns; yes I can positively say they are always quite friendly and willing to help.

And yes, I use their gear for real so…

I like the part about relatively thin and 38 pants and XL jackets.

I am ex British military, and PRYM1 is one of the best patterns I have seen out in the field to date. Forget your Multicam’s etc. Prym1 is the future of camouflage, a new revolution if you will being effective across multiple terrains. glad to see UF Pro has gone this direction.

UFPro have made their clothes in all manner of camo patterns over the years. They are quite flexible. At the moment they offer pieces in Flecktarn, MultiCam, SloCam (slovenian army MultiCam variation), Pencott, CONCAMO (new on the frontpage of their website), Prym1.

Arid flecktarn, Woodland and others I have seen in past offerings along with the usual colours like grey and olive and green etc. etc.

Looks like what Kryptek was trying to do.

    • mike says:

Yeah, here’s hoping that Prym1 doesn’t let their pattern die because they won’t invest in getting the material printed in smaller batches

    • SteveB says:

Agree, it’s similar to Kryptek. Kryptek was/is tthe Revolutionary Design.

Pryme1 from what I’ve seen comes in print on demand, no minimum.
