Patagonia Men’s R1 Fleece Pullover Hoody

Made from R1 grid fleece, the pullover hoody has a long tail to stay tucked in. It features a nice, deep front zipper for venting, as well as zippered chest pocket.

The hood is low profile.

The sleeves incorporate thumb holes.

But careful guys, it’s a slim fit. So if you’re a barrel chested freedom fighter, you’ll want to go up a size.

Available in Black, Balkan Blue, and Folios Green.

Why do you pump ads for companies that actively lobby against thr 2A and flex against the tactical outdoor marketspace

    • Parusol says:

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic but they literally supply (or design shit for) USASOC with their soon to be not restricted Mil L9 line, Patty stuff is generally great for outdoor use even if they’re biggest audience are hipsters

    • SSD says:

      Ok, not this BS again.

Show me where they actively lobbied against the second amendment.

I was training with a rifle today, whilst being adorned with issued Patagonia clothing in Multicam pattern. There were bunches of rifle toting humans in multicam Patagonia clothes.

It is funny (or sad) how some urban legends never die. FYI: from 1999 – 2005, the Patagonia CEO was a former SEAL. Patagonia was one of the original outdoor companies that stepped up to help out after the towers fell. All of their support was “under the table”, to avoid any negative reaction from their primary customer base. For all you PCU/Gen III ECWCS users, you can thank them (& Polartec) for L3.

This is SSD and Patagonia has worked heavily behind the scenes to provide for the warfighter for decades. They have been responsible for advancements in Uniforms and PPE that might not have happened had they not stepped up. At times investing with little to no hope of making a profit and while risking being alienated by their customers for being a part of the war effort.

You’ve got it round the wrong way. The jokes on the man-bun nose rings who it into the 1% for the planet marketing.

  4. Ray Forest says:

Good point. I look at it like this. Man bun soccer mom unknowingly provides the black funding used to develop military clothing systems. The R&D might not otherwise be profitable enough to conduct just for the war fighter

  5. Dave T. says:

Long time SSD reader, first time poster. OP, check out the SSD series on the “‘The Lost Arrow Project.” It goes into a lot of good detail on Patagonia’s support for the warfighter. BTW, I have 2 pieces of the original system (I think it was originally for the Rangers) that Ive had for over 10 years and still wear regularly. High loft gridded fleece and hooded soft shell. I can only imagine how great the new system is.

  6. Papa6 says:

It would prolly go the other way if all the hippies learned of Patagonia’s involvement with DOD . . . There would be protesting in the streets, all the “safe spaces” on American campuses would be full, AOC would be sticking her foot in her pie hole again . . . Pandemonium I tell ya!

    • David says:

AOC’s awesome! She has the entire GOP scared and Fox News doing hit pieces on her daily despite the fact she’s only a 29 year old junior Congresswoman who hasn’t even made it through half of her first term in office.

      • SSD says:

I agree. She’s fantastic! She’s everything wrong with liberalism wrapped up in one trainwreck. She’s the best thing to happen to the Republican Party since Reagan.
