Eagle E&R Bags Available From Double Tap Surplus

I stopped in to Double Tap Surplus yesterday and they still have quite a few new production Eagle Industries E&R Bags for sale.

Offered in multiple colors, these were originally made at Eagle by Matt Johnson and have been adopted over the years for various load carriage programs. Made from 1000D Cordura, this waistpack will last you a lifetime. It features three zippered compartments which are packed with escape and recovery or medical essentials. It is generally worn in front, under an armor vest. Some have been known to insert a soft armor panel into the flat, rear compartment.

Get yours before they are gone at doubletapsurplus.com.

My beef is the thin strap. Something wider but low profile would be fine. The old version had MOLLE on the back and metal attachment point on the sides.

I’m not sure what bag you’re talking about. This one has always been like this.
