Colt is just taking a pause to fulfill government orders. They’ve done it before.

Come on, don’t bring prospective into this. This is 2019. I don’t care about what’s happened in the past. I want to be outraged by something happening right now. At least until the internet/news tell me what else to be outraged about. But that won’t happen for another 10 minutes.

Wait, what? You mean all the vast conspiracy theories on the gun forums are wrong? Colt actually meant what it said about why they are putting a pause on civilian manufacturing??

One bid received? How is that possible?

How virtue signalling they are! I just heard Lib-Dems applause throughout the country. Who would pay for a shitty Colt M4/AR anyway??? Lol

  6. Mike says:

I can only hope that Sig and FN eat there lunch in the future and Colt gos belly up

    • parusol says:

They have, multiple times actually, and time and time again, they didn’t really die off, also Colt got an $88 million dollar contract along with FN to supply the Army with M4s back in November of last year, so they’re still a big name in the game. In truth, the Pony mark will live on.

      LOL same here. Screw em.

One of colt’s main points of failure was its lack of R&D and I have no reason to believe theyve changed this or will.

I also doubt theyll do much of anything in terms of innovation, which other companies making AR-type rifles are actually doing.
