TRIGGRCON 19 – GEN 12 from Genesis Arms – 12 GA Upper Receiver for AR10

The GEN-12 from Genesis Arms is a 12 ga upper receiver group for use with DPMS 308AR (gen1) lowers.

The short recoil operates as a delayed blowback with the barrel actually moving each time it is fired, like on a GLOCK. You can see the guide for the barrel in the end of the handguard. They are currently developing a standoff system for use as a breaching shotgun.

The reciprocating charging handle is on the right side of the receiver.

In addition to the upper, they provide a reliability package with beefed up springs for the bolt catch and magazine release.

Due to the operating system, the lower can be fitted with a folding stock.

The GEN 12 uses proprietary magazines. Five round versions are currently available, but they are working on a 10 rounder. The biggest issue was working out the curve shape for a smooth feed.

TRIGGRCON 19 – Tenicor SAGAX LUX Holster

Tenicor continues to innovate with their new SAGAX LUX AIWB Holster.

Looking at the body of the SAGAX LUX Holster, you can see that it is a bit bigger than Tenicor’s other holsters. That’s because it features their universal light fit which accommodates most compact weapon lights (Streamlight TLR7, Surefire XC1-B, XC2, Inforce APLc), but doesn’t rely on the light for retention. You’ll also note the high ride shirt guard, designed to allow for an unencumbered thumbs up grip. Yet, there’s still room for a red dot sight.

You can also see there’s plenty of adjustment thanks to the vertical adjustment slots on the T1 clip. The shape of the T1 clip also locks into your belt so when you draw, you get pistol and not holster.

The Holster comes with three interchangeable camming bars to fine tune concealment. When cinched by the belt, it rotates the grip into the body to keep the gun hidden.

Tenicor has worked hard on their body contour feature, developing a new, more complex shape for the SAGAX LUX.

The original body contour shape is seen at the far right of this photo on Tenicor’s non-light bearing AIWB VELO Holster. The new wedge design was created for positioning the gun for all day comfort. It turned out so well, they decided to incorporate it in the VELO design as well.

Above, you can see the original shape used in the VELO compared to the new shape which was adapted from the SAGAX LUX.

TRIGGRCON 19 – Maxim Defense PDX 300BLK

Set to ship by October, this example incorporates a pistol brace which is great for those who need the accommodation as well as users who require the compact for factor of a pistol but can’t wait to transfer an SBR such a LEOs who must purchase their own firearms for work. Pictured is also a Maxim Defense suppressor, currently under development. Alternatively, it cases fitted with the Maxim Defense HATEBRAKE Muzzle Booster. But the real magic here is the gas system which handles both super and sub sonic cartridges without any manual adjustments.

TRIGGRCON 19 – SilencerCo MAXIM Non-NFA Pistol Update

Now that the cat’s out of the bag on the Non-NFA version of SilencerCo’s delayed blowback MAXIM Pistol, they’re publicly showing it. This 9mm pistol is specifically designed to operate with a detachable suppressor of your choice.

As you can see, the fixed barrel is threaded for supressor attachment. This design allows the Red Dot to be mounted in front of the ejection port so it won’t slam back and forth as the pistol fires, allowing you to stay on target and less wear and tear on the optic.
