Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

EOTAC, manufacturers of tactical and discrete wear have teamed up with Extreme Outfitters to establish a showroom in Jacksonville, NC at the Extreme Outfitters store.

Extreme Outfitters

“After the success with our flagship showroom in NYC, we sought out a store that would be a great follow up. Extreme Outfitters is that store. Located near Camp Lejeune, Extreme Outfitters serves the military, law enforcement, and civilian communities offering both tactical and outdoor equipment,” said Fernando Coelho, President of EOTAC.

“The EOTAC lightweight tactical pant is undoubtedly the most comfortable, durable well thought out tactical pant I have ever worn! You can keep buying more of the same or you can choose EOTAC and get in the game!,” said a very enthusiastic Steve Siderias, President/CEO of Extreme Outfitters.

Here at Soldier Systems, we think this is a great team up and can’t wait to see where this leads.

For more information about EOTAC’s line, contact Extreme Outfitters at (910) 355-2118 or visit them online at www.extremeoutfitters.us.

EOTAC Operator Pant - in UCP!

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

It seems that EOTAC has been listening to their customer base and has finally released their Operator Pants (Style 201) in the Army’s Universal Camouflage Pattern.

EOTAC Lightweight Operator Pants in UCP

Manufactured from a fade resistant 7 ounce all-cotton ripstop, end users affectionately call this pant the “pajama pant” due to its comfort. I can attest to this claim, they are very comfortable and have a soft hand. Additionally, EOTAC applies DuPont Teflon® fabric protector to repel both water and oil based spills.

All critical seams are double-needle stitched and bar-tacked at stress points. The Action Waist has side elastic panels for freedom of movement. The 1 inch wide reinforced belt loops are strategically placed and accommodate belts up to 1 3/4 inches wide and the gusseted crotch allows for a greater range of mobility while reducing the stress around the crotch area of the pant.

There are multiple pockets to cover a wide range of uses. Two secured back pockets accommodate a wallet or ID while two larger easy access rear pockets accommodate larger gear. Like the ACU pant, there are two slant top bellows cargo pockets. They feature hook & loop closure flaps and elastic drawstring with cord lock for additional security. Inside the cargo pockets are elastic webbing loops that secure up to two 30-round magazines per pocket. The reinforced knees feature external openings with hook & loop closures for inserting foam knee pads (included). Two lower leg bellows pockets each feature a hook & loop closure flap and two chem stick holders.

“This was a natural progression for us. Our Operator Pant is based very closely on the US Army’s ACU pant. Because of that similarity in look, soldiers had asked us to offer it in the UCP. That was an easy decision to make. If it helps our soldiers, then it was worth doing,” said Fernando Coelho , president of EOTAC.

Sizes are available in 28″to 48″ waist and inseam lengths of 30″to 36″ (even sizes). In addition to UCP, the pants are also available in Khaki, Black, Navy, and OD Green. To order visit www.EOTAC.com.

EOTAC Releases Mechanic Shirt

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

Camouflage is all about blending in and the new mechanic shirt from EOTAC allows the wearer to blend in to basically any rural or urban setting while successfully carrying concealed. Sure, you can go down to Walmart and purchase an inexpensive shirt but the second you put a gun on, chances are real good that sucker is going to print.

Mechanic Shirt from EOTAC

It features a straight bottom hem with side vents and designed to be worn untucked in order to drape freely, offering maximum concealment and no printing. The two lower front buttons are false, with hook & loop closure behind them. This feature makes accessing a holstered handgun or spare magazines both rapid and smooth by either pulling or sweeping the shirt away. The mechanic shirt is available in Grey, Navy, and black and comes with four sew-on patches to help blend in.

EOTAC’s Field Vest

Friday, May 15th, 2009

Recognizing the versatility of the Field Jacket, EOTAC created a sleeveless version that retains the carrying capacity of the original yet is intended for warmer days or to complement other clothing for concealed carry.

There are four large cargo pockets on the front of the vest featuring side bellows and drain holes. The pockets have elastic webbing on the inside to secure smaller items like magazines or a flashlight as well as tuck away flaps with adjustable snaps. The top pockets also feature vertical zippered “Napoleon” security pockets. Internally, the Field Vest has four pockets with elastic loops for securing additional gear. Finally, a padded collar eases heavy loads and the front of the vest closes with a two-way YKK zipper.

Manufactured from 9 ounce all-cotton Iron Twill, the fabric is treated with DuPont Teflon® fabric protector. Shown in Lizard pattern, the Field vest will also be available in OD Green, Coyote Brown, and Black from www.eotac.com as well as retailers such as Gander Mountain and Grey Group Training.

EOTAC’s Lizard Pattern Field Jacket

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

We told you that EOTAC has a couple of tricks up their sleeve. One of them is a new colorway. Last fall we dropped the news that EOTAC was working on French Lizard pattern. Initially, they developed the material to give their Field Jacket, based on the French Algerian combat suit, a proper tribute by reproducing the camo pattern made famous by the French Foreign Legion. However, as you will see soon, it will also be applied to other newly developed products.
