Jetboil fans rejoice. At OR Summer Market they released a new double burner basecamp stove for the field gourmet.
The Genesis uses a butane cartridge to offer 10,000 BTUs per burner although I’d say that the 9 lbs 14 oz design is better suited to vehicle operations.
The system comes complete with double burners, butane connection hose, windscreen, ceramic coated frying pan, 5 liter pot with Flux Ring which really speeds up boiling, pot lid, and carrying case. Notice, there’s also a standard size burner attached via hose for coffee.
Select Jetboil Cooking Systems are 20% OFF at Extreme Outfitters.
Customers must use discount code JB20, to receive discounts off the Flash Green, Flash Blue, SOL(Aluminum), SOL(Titanium), and ZIP cooking systems. Sale ends June 30th.
The MultiCam FLASH Personal Cooking System (PCS) unveiled at last year’s Outdoor Retailer Summer Market is now available for purchase. Featuring a genuine MultiCam neoprene cozy that goes around the vessel, the shroud that houses the burner base is also an OD shade that matches the MultiCam quite well.
Everything you need is stacked and stored inside the 1.0 liter cooking cup. The system lights with the click of a button and within two minutes provides two cups of boiling water.
From now until Friday 12/21/12 or while supplies, when you purchase a minimum of $50 in addition to the MultiCam Jetboil Flash, and use discount code “JB5050”, you will receive $50 OFF your purchase. Only for a limited time and the code must be used to receive the discount.
Many of you may be familiar with the Jetboil line of portable cooking systems. They have just introduced a new version of the popular Flash stove with a genuine MultiCam neoprene cozy that goes around the vessel. Additionally, the shroud that houses the burner base is an OD color that matches the MultiCam quite well. The burner incorporates a piezo igniter. Finally, Jetboil pioneered the use the FluxRing, a heat exchanger technology that looks like a series of fins. It doubles the fuel efficiency of the Jetboil stove because it heats up so quickly. It also cools more quickly than other stoves as well.
Weighing in at 14oz (without fuel), the entire kit and caboodle stores inside the vessel for transport.
Jetboil makes a variety of accessories for their stoves, but the Fry Pan is pretty cool.
The fry pan uses Jetboil’s FluxRing technology which provides even heating. There is also a plastic base cover that doubles use for food prep or as a plate for eating.
