Fits better than size small adult vests for enhanced performance both in and out of the water.

Traction Gloves. Engineered for fishing and a first for Mustang Survival, the Traction Gloves were tested in Mustang Survival’s R&D lab proving a 30-50% grip improvement over bare hands. In further lab testing, the Traction Open Finger Gloves also showed a significant dexterity increase over bare hands, and the entire line is designed for enhanced wet grip performance. Whether fishermen are seeking sun protection, or a little extra warmth on cold mornings, there are multiple Traction Glove styles and weights available to provide protection from the elements.

Gear Haulers. Using material and technology knowledge gained from decades of experience designing and manufacturing dry suits for military, coast guard and rescue teams, the new line of Gear Haulers from Mustang Survival will keep your gear dry and protected in the nastiest of conditions.

“We are excited to once again be part of the Bassmaster Classic,” says Jason Leggatt, vice president and general manager of Mustang Survival. “As a showcase for peak performance, the event serves as an inspiration point for our design team to create inspired technical solutions engineered to perform in extreme conditions. It also gives us a great opportunity to interact with our users and showcase our latest product innovations.”

With a passion for keeping everyone safe while on or near the water, Mustang Survival will once again conduct boat yard PFD inspections for Bassmaster Classic competitors. Doing so will ensure all anglers have functioning PFDs in serviceable condition, and its importance cannot be overstated: Past inspections at the Classic have found an average of 5% of units requiring maintenance.

“Designing and manufacturing the most innovative gear possible for those who protect us is a mission we undertake with an immense amount of pride and respect for those we’re serving. Every product considers the user’s mission, comfort and safety, and we’re disproving the old adage ‘ounces are pounds, and pounds are pain’,” states Brian Dalgliesh, manager, Military Channel for Mustang Survival.

Exclusive to Mustang Survival, the Sentinel Series dry suits feature:
-Mobility Based Sizing™ – offers users a semi-custom fit that reduces bulk and increases mobility without the custom price tag
-Rapid Repair Technology™ – now extended to socks, in addition to neck and wrist seals, enables field repair in less than an hour

Sentinel Series Lightweight Special Operations Dry Suit. Weighing roughly 4 lbs, this is the lightest and most breathable surface operations dry suit on the market. Sentinel Series USCG Lightweight Boat Crew Dry Suit. Now with Rapid Repair Technology extended to the dry suits’ socks, the lifecycle of this dry suit has been prolonged and the overall cost of ownership reduced. Both waterproof and breathable, the USCG Lightweight Boat Crew Dry Suit is designed for constant wear for those not intending to the enter the water though still requiring hypothermia protection in the event of accidental immersion.

Bellingham, WA – Mustang Survival®, the North American manufacturer of innovative solutions for the most demanding marine environments, joins a prestigious list of brands exhibiting at this year’s Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam (Canada Pavilion, booth 12.314). Alongside some of the world’s largest marine brands, Mustang Survival will be displaying the EP Ocean Racing Series, launched this past summer and designed for the most serious ocean racers. Part of the collection are the EP 6.5 Ocean Racing Jacket and Salopette, both of which are DAME Design Award 2016 nominees.

“The show provides a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase the EP Ocean Racing Series to an international audience for the first time. To have received positive accolades on the line from crew members aboard Comanche and Rambler 88, and to have been part of Comanche’s Sydney-Hobart, Newport-Bermuda and Trans-Atlantic records is both an honor and a testament to our game-changing innovation,” explains Robbie Stevens, Sr. Director, Sales & Marketing at Mustang Survival. “These types of innovations don’t come along every season and when they do, they often change the way that people interact with their equipment. Being nominated for a DAME Award is further validation that we are starting to drive that change.”

Available now, the assortment brings to market Mustang Survival’s all-new EP Ocean Racing Inflatable PFD, EP 6.5 Ocean Racing outerwear category, Bluewater and Greenwater Series Gear Haulers, Roll Top Dry Bags, Regulate Base Layers, and EP 3250 Racing Gloves. The new collection allows for seamless integration of the brand’s thermal layers and outerwear with their flotation and protective equipment, providing a comprehensive range of solutions for offshore racers and demanding enthusiasts.

The launch of the EP 6.5 Ocean Racing outerwear brings the proven technology to the sailing market for the very first time. EP 38 Ocean Racing Inflatable PFD – As the only race-compliant PFD (personal flotation device) available with U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada approvals, the EP 38 features Hammar® Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT™) for reliable inflation in extreme conditions, and M.I.T. (Membrane Inflatable Technology™) materials inside, making the innovative construction of the EP 38 better-fitting, incredibly pliable and easier to repack. The low profile back-of-neck, vest-style design and improved weight balance, combine to remove pressure from the back of the neck.

EP 6.5 Ocean Racing Outerwear – The outerwear collection designed for elite ocean racing sailors uses military-grade Gore-Tex fabric for robust durability and resistance to delamination. The collection includes a dry suit, jacket, salopette, and spray smock with Gore-Tex Pro. The products leverage premium components, including AquaSeal® waterproof zippers, Cohaesive™ cinch adjusters and Closed Comfort System™ neck seals.

Regulate Base Layers – Crafted with a blend of Merino wool and synthetic yarns, the fabric of Mustang Survival’s Regulate Base Layers touts the benefits of both fibers, designed for the unique demands of the nautical user. The Regulate Base Layer system is available in 175 weight and 230 weight tops and bottoms.

Bluewater Gear Haulers – Perfect for everyday trips or extended overnight excursions, the Bluewater Gear Haulers feature weatherproof construction with urethane-coated zippers and a 210-denier coated nylon shell. Bellingham, Wash. – Mustang Survival announced today that Team Comanche will wear Mustang Survival’s new range of performance waterproof, breathable outwear at the Rolex Sydney Hobart race beginning December 26, 2015 in Sydney, Australia.

“Mustang Survival has been building leading dry solutions for the military, coast guard and water rescue professionals for decades,” said Jason Leggatt, VP commercial products. “This expertise, along with our access to ultra-premium ingredient technologies like military-grade GORE-TEX fabrics, has allowed us to build what we, and Team Comanche, feel is the world’s driest, toughest performance outerwear.”

A 100 ft. Supermaxi yacht, Comanche, was built with one thing in mind; compete in the world’s great ocean races and break open-ocean racing records. Everything counts in these demanding multi-day races and poor performing gear can rapidly deteriorate the athlete’s advantage. Team Comanche, skippered by Ken Read, will be fully outfitted in Mustang Survival’s new range of outerwear, which includes a dry suit, pro smock, spray smock and salopettes, and base layers.

“Working with Mustang Survival to develop the EP series of ocean racing gear led to what will be the new benchmark for serious sailors. When we put the gear on in our fit trials, we knew we had something special. Testing it over the run up to the race, we were very impressed by the performance of the gear,” said Tony Mutter, watch captain and twice-winner of the Volvo Ocean Race.

In addition to the technical outerwear debuting at Sydney Hobart 2015, Mustang Survival will be releasing additional products in the fall of 2016. These will integrate seamlessly with the EP Ocean Racing Series, including a new Fusion Merino base layer, ocean racing gloves and more. By designing and developing the range together, Mustang Survival engineered what will be the only series of ocean racing products built to work as a system.

Jared Rhind, head of design comments, “By ensuring our products integrate seamlessly with one another through fit, material selection, and function, the result is a sum greater than its parts; a system benefit that no other can offer.”

Mustang Survival’s EP Ocean Racing Series will launch in June 2016 at retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
