Learn more about the Team Wendy Transit Pack by Mystery Ranch:
Last year, Mystery Ranch won the contract for three of USSOCOM’s SPEAR family of packs. Because there is so much going on with these packs, we are just going to show them to you.
Additionally, all three packs come with a new common version of the NICE frame.
Once again, look for full details on these packs soon.
Plan on stopping by the MYSTERY RANCH booth (#7409) at SHOT Show to see their latest pack designs, loaded with more features and badassery than ever. They will have their full lineup of Jump Packs and SPEAR Packs available to show along with several other new designs.
For a sneak peek, check out their 2017 workbook.
Here are two new accessories from Mystery Ranch I think SSD readers may be interested in.
First up is the Rain Cover with Hood. It’s pretty straight forward. MR figures that of you want to keep your pack dry, you might want to do the same with your head.
Offered in two sizes, 10 and 30 liters, these Dry Cells feature roll tops and sonic welded seams.
This report on new items from Mystery Ranch Outdoor products, coming Fall 17. The military/tactical items will come next week at SHOT Show. Both of these are what I would consider commuter bags.
At 22 liters, the Rip Ruck is made from 420D Cordura in a mountain ruck style. Look for a separate zippered pocket for a laptop next to the back along with a dual zipper main pocket and two smaller outer pockets which replicate the two-zipper styling.
The Slick is just that. It’s a 23 liter pack made from ripstop nylon and features a dedicated, zippered, laptop compartment along with a main pocket with a half moon zippered opening. On either side are slit pockets which will accept a water bottle.
Mystery Ranch has posted a really cool interview of founder Dana Gleason and his son and co-owner, D3. They each give their perspective on the brand and its stuff you aren’t going to hear unless you get to spend an afternoon at the Ranch. Definitely worth a read.
