This is the first shooting course review I have done, but I plan to do more. Shooting courses are one of those high ticket items between tuition, ammo, travel, etc. And I think by bringing some honest reviews of them I can hopefully save some people time and money by pointing them in the direction of the training / experience that they will get the most out of.

Some ODG Lupus Eye Candy

This rifle is equipped with a 14.5″ Rainier Arms .300 Upper with an OSS Bannar Flash Hiding Muzzle Brake mated to an AAC lower. The rifle was dipped in ODG’s Lupus pattern and outfitted with a VTAC Sling.

Orion Design Group – VTAC MK1 Sling Now Available

Orion Design Group has just recently added the Viking Tactics MK1 sling to their product offerings. Made of Murdock woven webbing, the VTAC MK1 is a versatile two-point sling that has been in use with members of ODG since 2007.

MilSpec Monkey SHOT Follow-Up

Anyone that does the media tour of SHOT Show will tell you how overwhelming it can be, and how much information that will stack up. Our friend Milspec Monkey has uploaded some more material from his 2012 SHOT Show sortie.He advises that it was “…even slower than usual, but making sure to get the media on up. Shotshow went overall smooth this year, no crazy rainstorms and better wireless service. Scored a cold as usual from the handshake factory, but thems just part of the experience at this point. Summary words of the show, I’d say: Light-Weight and Zombies. Check out my YouTube channel for the usual pile, made it all the way up to 3 cameras this year…”

He also advised there’s a new gallery up by his “ol’ buddy Pye.”
